Child Care Services
Workforce Solutions Texoma assists low-income families who are working or attending training, or those that are looking for work, by helping them pay for child care. The funds used to pay for child care assistance are federal Child Care and Development Funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Customers receiving child care assistance must meet federal, state and local guidelines in order to qualify for child care assistance. The information contained on this website is here to help you:
- make a decision about child care for your child/children,
- determine if you may qualify for child care assistance,
- complete the application process to receive child care assistance, and
- complete the re-certification process while receiving child care assistance.
Workforce Solutions Texoma currently has a wait list for Child Care Services from three to four months.

The Child Care Services (CCS) program is transitioning to a new statewide application starting Monday, December 9, 2024. Because of this, our local waitlist applications and recertification application are temporarily unavailable. A link to the new statewide application will be added to our website on December 9th and CCS applications can be submitted on or after that date.
Additionally, Child Care Services customers needing to recertify their care have all been given extensions until after the release of the new statewide application.
